On Sunday, October 18th, we were greeted with a colorful display of quilts draped over the pews. These quilts were lovingly crafted by a very dedicated group of women who gather every Monday to cut, sew, and tie these beautiful creations.
This year, from January 1st through October 9th, the quilters made 132 quilts and 66 fleece. So far this year, about 25 quilts and 20 fleece have been given to local organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House, The Reach, Operation Outreach, WEM school, Handicapped Children, and those baptized at St. Paul’s, as well as graduation gifts for members of St. Paul’s.
We pray that these quilts will surround those who receive them with the warmth of God’s love and care for them. Many thanks to our dedicated group of “quilting ladies.”
